A greener world is possible and it is very important for us to contribute to change with our everyday actions. We are committed to doing our part to protect the environment and preserve the natural beauty of our Calabria and make our guest’s stay an unforgettable, natural, and conscious experience.
The Resort Cala di Volpe is equipped with:
- photovoltaic and thermal panels, which meet 100% of our energy needs;
- solar thermal to heat hot water;
- possibility of electric car recharging with an on-site charging station;
- travel in the facility with zero emissions electric cars.
To preserve the naturalness and beauty of our territory between Capo Vaticano and Tropea, we limit the use of plastic material. At Cala di Volpe we have eliminated the use of disposable cutlery and glasses in our resort, favouring packaging in 100% biodegradable recyclable materials.
Separate waste collection to protect the environment and Plastic is separated from food waste and paper.
We work every day, thanks to the help of our guests, who are increasingly sensitive to the GREEN project, by changing sheets/towels only on request and we have made our guests aware of the importance of turning off the lights and air conditioning when they leave their rooms.
Food and drink.
Even in the kitchen, we are increasingly committed to using local raw materials, and experimenting more and more with organic cooking: more flavour and less toxic substances in favour of the environment and our wellbeing. Most of the top-quality raw materials are produced by our expert farmers, to create typical and tasty dishes, respecting seasonality and organic methods.
From 2023, the Cala di Volpe Village is equipped with water filtration systems that will reduce the consumption of 15269 plastic bottles annually.
We are committed to continuing to find new ways to reduce our environmental impact and encourage our guests to do the same. We hope we can count on your support to create a more sustainable future for all of us!
