1. Capo Vaticano & Grotticelle (4km) – Paradise between cliffs and golden sand.

A mix of beaches and coves that look like something out of a postcard, with golden sand and turquoise waters.
The sheltered coves are perfect for children.
Take a boat trip to admire the coast from a unique perspective.
🕒 When to go: Early morning or late afternoon to avoid the traffic and enjoy the tranquillity.

2. Baia di Riaci (2km) – Between spectacular rocks and transparent sea. 

An enchanting beach with impressive rock formations and a seabed perfect for snorkelling.
The beach offers both free areas and equipped lidos and a gently sloping seabed.
The atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing day.
🕒 When to go: May, June and September are the ideal months to enjoy this beach without too many people.

3. Spiaggia di Zambrone (15km) – Relaxation and unspoilt nature.

One of the most striking beaches on the Costa degli Dei, with white sand and clear sea.
The northernmost area has shallow waters that are safe for children.
The famous ‘Diver’s Paradise’ offers a unique snorkelling experience.

4. Parghelia (9km) – The alternative to Tropea.

Less crowded but equally fascinating beaches with romantic coves and crystal-clear waters.
Michelino beach can only be reached on foot, via a flight of some 200 steps, from which one can enjoy a spectacular view.
🕒 When to go: In the afternoon to enjoy the calm sea and breathtaking sunsets.

5. Tropea (6km) – The dream beach below the borgo dei Borghi. 

One of the most famous beaches in Italy, with a unique panorama and a sea of a thousand shades.
